What is the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Information Security Governance, the Cyber Report Analyst will be responsible for compiling, analysing, and delivering high-quality, concise, and actionable reports for senior leadership, including board-level and executive papers. These reports will cover all aspects of the Bank’s cybersecurity function, including governance, risk management, operations, strategy, and cyber defence. The role involves the distillation of complex technical and operational data into clear, polished reports that support strategic decision-making. The Cyber Report Analyst will work closely with cybersecurity teams and other key stakeholders to ensure that all reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with the organization’s overall cybersecurity objectives and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will act as the central reporting contact, ensuring the creation of professional, high-level communications for senior stakeholders, and supporting the continued enhancement of the cybersecurity function through data-driven insights and recommendations.
Key accountabilities:
* Lead the preparation, development, and delivery of high-quality board-level and executive reports, ensuring all documents are concise, clear, and professionally polished, addressing the organization’s cybersecurity governance, risk, operations, and strategy.
* Collaborate closely with cybersecurity leads, Cyber SMEs, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that the reports accurately reflect the current cybersecurity posture, highlight key risks, and provide actionable insights.
* Regularly update and maintain cybersecurity metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs) and trends, presenting this data in a structured manner for leadership reviews.
* Drive the continuous improvement of the reporting process, implementing standardized templates and methodologies to ensure efficiency and consistency in reporting.
* Produce detailed executive summaries that highlight current cybersecurity risks, mitigation strategies, and the overall security strategy's progress.
* Contribute to the development of presentations and reports for cybersecurity audits, regulatory reviews, and assessments, ensuring all documentation is aligned with external requirements and internal standards.
Minimum Requirements:
* Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT Security or relevant third party degree.
* Has 5 years’ experience in Report Analysis with ideally 2 years in Cyber Security.
* Demonstrates excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to generate and proven track record in producing Board digestible Security reports in Powerpoint and Word.
* Proven capability in the generation of Management Information using Excel and other common reporting tools, such as PowerBI.
