This market leading organisation in the entertainment and event management industry are looking a personable and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their team at their Head Office based in Dublin 1. Your new role
You will be responsible for one of the organisation's venues, working closely with the Finance Manager for the venue and your duties will include:
1. Produce accurate and timely management accounts for local management and corporate head office
2. Co-ordination of all daily/weekly/monthly finance functions including settlements, AR, AP, payroll and sales reporting.
3. Ensure that all revenues and costs are recorded accurately and in line with contracts
4. Preparation and review of annual budgets and monthly forecasts in conjunction with general manager & department heads.
5. Preparation and submission of budget and forecast packs to Head Office and point of contact for all related queries.
6. Analytical review of results and investigation of variances and reporting to assist business performance.
7. Review & authorise payments and payroll
8. Identify, test and implement modifications to systems and practices to achieve more efficient working environment.
9. Leadership of junior team members
What you'll need to succeed
10. Qualified Accountant with 5 years plus PQE
11. Must have experience working in industry to be considered.
12. Experience in hospitality or retail sectors would be a big advantage.
13. Must have a stable CV with longevity in roles
14. You must be based in Ireland with full working rights.
