A leading Cost Consultancy based in Ireland has a new requirement for an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join the team. You will be involved in landmark projects within Ireland and work closely with some of the country's leading developers.
With various offices in different geographical locations, the Associate QS will be responsible for the following:
1. Mentor, supervise and manage junior commercial team members
2. Managing the cost plan & cost value engineering process
3. Management of the procurement & measurement process
4. Preparing various bill of quantities descriptions from design drawings
5. Managing the BQ production process
6. Managing the compiling of tender documentation
7. Managing the tender report process & examining tenders
8. Advise clients on the form of contract recommended & any specific clauses
9. Manage monthly claims for payment submitted by Main Contractor
10. Managing the day-to-day running of construction projects
11. Managing the cost reporting, final account, and project monitoring process
