As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a motivated Test Engineer to join our group.

Responsibilities
* Become a key part of the wider engineering team and help deliver on Mbryonics’ testing goals underpinning optical communications telescopes.
* Be self-motivated to deliver on testing campaigns such as TVAC for thermal cycling and thermal balance tests, and also Vibration tests.
* Write up test plans and collate results of experiments/tests.
* Design or liaise with mechanical engineers to build testing accompaniments such as adaptor plates, shrouds, GSE, packaging, etc.
* Actively carry out testing with in-house shakers, TVAC, and prepare test setups for the same.
* Implement continued development of engineering practices and procedures within a blossoming scale-up environment.
* Develop novel solutions for, and improve on existing, test support systems through innovative approaches, creative inputs, and leveraging former experiences.
* Rapidly iterate on process development and testing utilizing a mixture of a hands-on approach and analytical modeling if needed, be proactive, and consistently help progress product development in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures and standards, with an ultimate goal of scaling up to high volume manufacturing.
Required Technical Skills/Education
* 2+ years of testing and test setups within a manufacturing or related engineering field experience.
* Some basic experience with a commercial CAD package.
* Understanding of early stage prototyping and product development.
* Exposure to common testing processes for space including TVAC, Shock, and Vibration testing equipment.
Desired Technical Skills/Education
* Familiarity with current testing environments and equipment for space launch and operations.
* Knowledge of or keen interest in the space sector would be an advantage.
* Actively engaged in the field of engineering and continuous professional development.
* Equally comfortable working on a task alone as collaborating as part of a team.
* Not afraid to roll-up one's sleeves to be mission and deadline motivated.
* Proven problem-solving abilities with a keen interest in becoming a key decision maker in Test engineering activities.
