Senior Analytics Consultant required for a key hire with a leading industry Organisation
You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify challenges, uncover opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
A key component of this role is stakeholder management, ensuring alignment between technical outputs and business goals.
While a data science background is preferred, experience with platforms like Databricks is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities: Work with business stakeholders to define challenges, translate requirements, and deliver solutions that drive measurable business impact.
Use advanced problem-solving skills to analyse large datasets and identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.
Develop intuitive and insightful dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent, ensuring effective communication of complex results.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a strong understanding of business needs and providing tailored analytical solutions.
Lead the development and implementation of analytical solutions using modern tools and techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and data scientists, to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies, leveraging tools like Databricks and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) where appropriate.
Key Requirements: Proven history of solving complex business problems using data analytics.
Demonstrated ability to derive actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
Strong experience in developing dashboards and visualisations with Power BI, or similar platforms.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of collaborating with senior business leaders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.
Experience in advanced analytics techniques; a background in data science is preferable .
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar languages; experience with Databricks is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical results to non-technical audiences.
A degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Advanced degrees are a plus.
