Job Description:
Connexus UK is recruiting a Payroll Specialist on behalf of a leading manufacturing company.
This newly created role reflects the company's continued expansion and need for an experienced payroll professional to ensure smooth, compliant, and timely payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing.
* Maintain and update the Payroll Database, ensuring accuracy for new starters, leavers, and employee changes.
* Collate information from time & attendance systems for payroll integration.
* Provide expert payroll guidance to senior management.
* Complete and submit P11 D forms.
* Ensure accurate calculation of SSP, SPP, SMP, and other statutory payments.
* Maintain up-to-date Real Time Information (RTI) submissions.
* Process payments to employees, HMRC, and pension providers on time.
* Manage internal and external payroll queries.
* Oversee absence, overtime, and holiday reporting.
* Ensure compliance with the latest payroll legislation.
* Administer schemes such as Childcare Vouchers, Cycle to Work, and Charity Giving.
Requirements
* 4+ years experience in a payroll role, processing multiple payrolls.
* Experience managing payroll for 250-300 weekly-paid employees and 40-50 monthly-paid employees.
* Sage Payroll experience is essential.
* Strong ability to meet strict deadlines.
* Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* A proactive team player with a "hands-on" approach.
* Republic of Ireland payroll experience is advantageous but not essential.
