Requirements It is crucial to have a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a Bord Altranais.
Have at least one year of experience working in adult mental health services during your three years of post-registration nursing experience.
flexibility in covering weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts.
Experience providing acute mental health care in a medical or hospital setting.
Palliative care clinical expertise is preferred.
Have the necessary skills and knowledge, including a high level of managerial, administrative, and clinical competence.
Exhibit expertise in workforce planning, budgeting, and personnel management.
Exhibit a thorough understanding of the leadership, governance, and requirements of the Mental Health Commission.
Show that you understand the principles and procedures of clinical governance and have clinical experience working in a team of clinicians.
Exhibit the capacity to oversee, instruct, supervise, and engage in students' and registered nurses' practice education.
