With a strong reputation and an expanding presence, our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. If you’re passionate about hair and beauty and have the skills to drive both account management and new business development, this is the role for you!
The Role:
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the continued growth of our client’s brand in the East of Ireland. Your role will be a perfect mix of managing existing accounts and seeking out new business opportunities. With a strong portfolio of loyal clients already in place, you’ll have the chance to nurture those relationships, while also looking for new ways to expand the brand’s reach in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management with a Personal Touch: Manage and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring top-notch service and satisfaction.
2. Hunting for New Opportunities: Seek out new business prospects, reaching out to salons, beauty professionals, and distributors. Your aim? To spread the word and make sure the brand is on everyone’s radar.
3. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategies that will drive sales and push the brand to new heights. Exceeding targets is in your DNA.
4. Product Evangelist: Become an expert on the brand’s product range. Show clients how our client’s high-quality offerings can transform their businesses and build long-term partnerships.
5. Market Awareness: Keep an eye on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities. You’ll always be one step ahead in terms of market knowledge and customer demands.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience: You’ve spent at least 2 years in a business development and account management role within the hair and beauty industry and have a proven track record of success.
2. Industry Knowledge: You know the industry inside out. From understanding the latest beauty trends to knowing which salons are looking for the next big thing, you’ve got it covered.
3. Relationship Builder: You excel at building rapport and establishing trust with clients. You’re confident in managing existing relationships and equally adept at developing new business.
4. Results-Driven: You’re highly motivated and determined to meet and exceed targets. You can balance the needs of existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
5. Communication Skills: Your ability to communicate effectively and persuasively is one of your strongest attributes. You know how to make things happen.
6. Driving License: As this is a territory-based role covering the East of Ireland, a full driving license is essential.
