Senior Manager/Director - Digital Manufacturing Technology
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager/Director to lead our Manufacturing Execution Systems group in EY Ireland. The successful candidate will lay out the strategy, go-to-market, and build a Manufacturing Execution system practice based in Ireland, primarily serving the needs of the Life Sciences industry (Pharma manufacturing, medical devices, and Cell and gene therapy).
This role will expand further into other segments like Food and Beverages, Speciality Chemicals, and Utilities after attaining critical mass.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lay out the strategy for the Manufacturing Execution Systems group in EY Ireland and build a Manufacturing Execution system practice based in Ireland.
* Support and deliver alliances relationships in the Life Sciences sector with key technology providers such as Emerson, Rockwell, Werum, Siemens Tulip, and others.
* Build a practice in close alliance with these leading MES vendors in the market place.
* Develop joint propositions for specific use cases in industry, such as line clearance, golden batch, annual product reviews, etc.
* Manage the training, learning, and career aspirations of the team as we deliver assessment, implementation, and managed services support work for clients.
* Navigate with Life Sciences account teams globally in the US, Germany, Switzerland, and UK geographies given most life sciences companies are headquartered in these regions.
* Strategically leverage networks to drive innovation, best practice, and a continuous improvement culture across advanced manufacturing and aligned with EY's wider Digital Factory/capability.
