Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Community Events Marketing Executive to plan, organize, and execute community-based events that promote our brand and services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning & Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute local community events such as health fairs, workshops, sponsorships, and informational seminars.
2. Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies for events, including digital promotion, local outreach, and partnerships with community organizations and influencers.
3. Content Creation: Create compelling event promotional materials, including social media posts, email newsletters, posters, and flyers. Ensure that all content aligns with the organization's branding and message.
4. Partnership Building: Build relationships with local organizations, healthcare providers, schools, senior centers, and other community groups to drive event attendance and foster partnerships.
5. Event Logistics: Manage all aspects of event logistics, including booking venues, securing vendors, overseeing event staff, and coordinating event schedules.
6. On-Site Event Support: Attend and manage events in person, ensuring smooth execution, capturing photo/video content for social media, and engaging with attendees to provide information about the organization's services.
7. Data & Reporting: Collect data from events to assess attendance, engagement, and overall success. Report back to management with insights and recommendations for future events.
8. Community Engagement: Foster long-term relationships with community leaders and participants, creating a loyal customer base through exceptional service and follow-up.
Qualifications:
1. Proven Experience: Proven experience in event planning, community outreach, or marketing, preferably in healthcare, wellness, or consumer services.
2. Social Media Understanding: Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing tools for event promotion (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse groups.
4. Creative Mindset: Creative mindset with the ability to design engaging content and events that resonate with target audiences.
5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
6. Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Passion: A passion for promoting health and wellness.
8. Familiarity: Familiarity with the challenges faced by individuals with hearing loss is a plus.
9. Licence: A full clean driver's license is required and a willingness to travel nationwide.
