The successful Head Chef will assist the Executive Head Chef in overseeing day-to-day culinary operations, training, supervising staff, and monitoring food quality. This includes leading and motivating a team of talented Chefs in multiple outlets with a minimum of 3 years experience in a Senior Chef role, preferably in a busy 5* Hotel or Fine Dining Restaurant environment.
The Candidate:
* Previous experience in a similar senior role in a 4* or 5* Hotel or Fine Dining Restaurant environment.
* A team player with excellent staff development and leadership skills.
* Knowledge of compiling wage forecasts, rosters, monthly stock control, budgeting, team training, cost control management, and HACCP.
* Exceptional food delivery with consistency, while staying up to date with the latest culinary trends.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* Able to handle multiple tasks with high volume production, attention to detail, and presentation.
* Responsible for creating an environment that promotes employee morale and encourages team pride and commitment.
As the Head Chef, you will be fully accountable for all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the efficient production and presentation of meals while meeting all regulatory and HACCP standards. This includes managing the purchase, storage, and handling of all food products.
