We are now hiring a Demand Planner (Permanent role) to join our team in Stamullen, County Meath.
Main purpose of job:
1. The Successful candidate will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analysing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.
2. To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of problem Solving, and extensive use of Microsoft Supporting Analysis tools, ERP and other Forecasting tools.
Main responsibilities:
3. Participate in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process with a particular focus on the alignment between the demand plan and the business plan.
4. Manage demand planning exceptions related to out of control demand, forecast bias, unusual month to date demand and other Outliers.
5. Manage the demand planning aspects of the product life cycle (new products, end of life, and phase-in / phase-out).
6. Gather and apply Market Intelligence to the demand plan in collaboration with our Key Account Managers and Business Development teams.
7. Utilise our ERP, BI and Planning Optimisation tools to provide stable Demand Schedules for the Business.
8. Leverage forecast performance metrics tools to measure accuracy and take actions accordingly.
9. Maintain data integrity in the demand planning system ensuring accurate MPS and MRP outputs.
10. Performing what-if simulations and analysis on Forecasts to support the Planning and Senior Management teams in making decisions across Production, Purchasing, Logistics and Financial Planning.
