Job Description:
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to develop the Munster region for our client's engineering consumable product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop branch sales by securing new business contracts and maintaining existing ones
* Achieve defined sales targets while maintaining good profitability levels
* Educate customers about the company's expanding product range and identify leads for further business opportunities
* Continuously seek new customers in the defined sales area and pass on information about existing or potential customers in other sales areas
* Analyse current and potential markets for the Company's products and services
* Enhance existing and create new meaningful relationships between the Company and its customers and suppliers
* Manage the sales area efficiently and utilise time effectively to achieve maximum results
* Agree with the National Sales Manager a 12-month Sales Target Objective for the defined area and strive to achieve this Objective
Requirements:
* Previous area/field sales experience is essential with a demonstrable sales success record
* Experience gained within the Engineering/Industrial Supplies or MRO market is highly desirable
* A full and valid driving licence is essential
