Unijobs are currently looking to recruit a Finance/Clerical Officer in Limerick City. The ideal candidate will have immediate availability, be flexible, ambitious, and eager to learn, with a strong background experience working in an office environment as a Financial Administrator. You will be well presented and strive to achieve your goals on a daily basis. The successful candidate will work a 35-hour week, Monday to Friday, for an initial month-to-month contract. Rate of pay is €15-€17 per hour.
*This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance. If applicable, you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role.*
Temporary Position - Month to Month Contract
Requirements:
1. Experience in a fast-paced Finance Department.
2. Experience using Financial Systems (SAP).
3. Accounts experience (accounts payable).
4. End of Month Accrual Preparation.
5. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
6. Excellent administration and organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
7. Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. Ability to work on own initiative.
9. Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
10. Prior experience dealing with confidential information.
11. Petty cash management.
12. Basic Finance skillset.
13. Basic Excel skillset.
14. Reconciliation.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Assist with day-to-day operations of a fast-paced and changing environment.
2. Provide clerical and administrative support to the senior administrator and assist the Manager if and when required.
3. Ensure accuracy while dealing with high volumes of important administration and often-sensitive documentation.
4. Deal with other members of the organization and multi-disciplinary teams in a professional manner.
