Aircraft Technician/ Leadman Training Program

Entry Requirements as a Trainee:
1. Minimum GCE “N” Level.
2. Passionate about working on aircraft and technical works.
3. No prior experience required.
Roles & Responsibilities as an Aircraft Technician after completion of training:
1. Able to perform preventive maintenance checks on aircraft systems, structural and/or electrical/electronic components.
2. Able to fabricate and perform approved minor repairs on airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wirings and/or subsystem assemblies’ components.
3. Able to perform simple operational checks on aircraft systems and/or components using appropriate test sets/tools to ensure serviceability and airworthiness in accordance with national regulatory, company procedures, and safety requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities as a Leadman after completion of training:
1. Able to perform preventive maintenance checks on aircraft systems, structural and/or electrical/electronic components.
2. Able to fabricate and perform approved minor repairs on airframe sheet metal parts, electrical wirings and/or subsystem assemblies’ components.
3. Able to perform simple operational checks on aircraft systems and/or components using appropriate test sets/tools to ensure serviceability and airworthiness in accordance with national regulatory, company procedures, and safety requirements.
4. Able to lead/coach, mentor, and/or manage a team of technicians through a structured OJT/OJT assessment.
5. Able to champion production quality and safety on current initiatives or any future continuous improvement plan.
6. Able to assist engineers in troubleshooting, defect detection, and rectifications of aircraft systems during maintenance checks.
