Experienced Design Engineer - Metal Fabrication (Louth)
A leading stainless-steel solutions provider is seeking a full-time Experienced Design Engineer to join their expanding team. This role involves designing structural platforms, stairs, and high-end furniture for the Bio-Pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with customers and external engineers to ensure designs align with approved specifications and budgets.
* Coordinate with site installers for seamless project execution.
* Manage design budgets and liaise with external design contractors when required.
* Ensure compliance with ISO9000, EN1090, and CE marking regulations.
* Collaborate with the internal design team, sharing ideas and innovations.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
* 5-10 years' experience in metal fabrication (structural steel/sheet metal design preferred).
* Proficiency in 3D drawing software (Advanced Steel, Inventor, Tekla, or similar).
* Familiarity with BIM tools like Navisworks is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office 365).
