Senior Project Manager Role Overview:
CPL, on behalf of a public sector organisation, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 12-month duration. There is a possibility of extension for further projects based on performance.
The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week as an agency employee, with an annualised salary and 30 days' annual leave per annum (including paid Bank Holidays).
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with various stakeholders across the health sector.
Purpose of the Post:
* Lead and drive a major change management project within the Irish Healthcare system, ensuring its successful completion within a 12-month timeframe.
* Take ownership of the project, providing strategic direction and proactive leadership to achieve project milestones and objectives.
* Coordinate and manage diverse stakeholder groups, including clinical, operational, technical, and governance representatives, ensuring their engagement and alignment with project goals.
* Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive project plans, strategies, and timelines to drive the project to completion.
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders, fostering a unified approach to project delivery.
* Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the project remains on track and addressing any issues promptly to avoid delays.
* Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and best practices within the healthcare sector throughout the project lifecycle.
* Promote continuous improvement and innovation in project management processes and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
* Provide strong leadership and direction to project team members, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Manage resources efficiently and oversee project budgets to achieve project goals within allocated time and financial constraints.
* Engage with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to secure necessary support and resources for the successful completion of the project.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience working with or leading projects of national significance with business, technical, governance, and legal activities across the project lifecycle.
* Significant business operations, change management, and/or project management experience using structured change and project methodologies to deliver projects to successful outcomes in complex environments.
• A qualification in Health Administration, Project Management, Business, or a related field
• Project management certification is desirable but not essential
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of successful project delivery
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
