Human Resource Manager Job Description
Excel Healthcare is delighted to have partnered with one of Ireland's leading healthcare providers, seeking a Human Resource Manager to lead their group HR function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the Group's HR function, development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives consistent with and aligned to the group's overall strategy. This role offers an excellent opportunity to play a leading role in organisational growth over the coming years and would suit an ambitious HR professional with experience at management level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage and develop the HR function for the Group.
* Guide management through best practices for the recruitment, selection and training of staff.
* Manage disciplinary, grievance and ER/IR issues as well as absence and performance management.
* Provide support to HODs on HR and ER related issues.
* Recruitment planning in line with ambitious expansion plans.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in a HR or business-related field.
* Three years' experience at management level.
* Experience in a healthcare setting is essential.
* An excellent knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation.
* Able to develop and build relationships with all levels of the business.
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
