Job Description
You will support the overall Food & Beverage operation of the hotel to maximize guest satisfaction, team member performance and business results. Your key duties and responsibilities are to promote and ensure guest satisfaction, maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and ensure only the highest quality products are being served, achieved through developing and maintaining a strong team environment, delivery of prompt, courteous service in accordance with brand and Food & Beverage standards. Further, you will handle daily team member relations and encourage problem solving by team members through proper training and empowerment.

* Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operation
* Passion for leadership and teamwork
* Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
Additional Responsibilities
* Ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality are delivered consistently to our guests.
* Carry out departmental audits to ensure LHQA is achieved by all team members.
* Communicate the Hotel’s Vision & Mission statement to the team.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization in areas of responsibility.
* Control the ambience in departments (lights, music and temperature).
* Report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate departments.
* Implement new initiatives within the agreed time frame.
* Set and achieve personal objectives on a yearly basis.
* Attend meetings as required.
* Ensure management presence in all departments at all times.
* Maintain a consistently high level of security throughout the Hotel.
* Act on guest feedback in a timely manner and ensure necessary actions are taken to prevent reoccurrences.
* Monitor purchasing and costs in the department to ensure alignment with budgets and purchasing procedures.
* Achieve departmental sales in line with the hotel budget.
* Accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and maintain flexibility within teams.
* Provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel.
* Comply with the hotel's cash handling procedures and ensure all team members are trained accordingly.
* Drive business results through revenue growth and cost savings efficiency.
