Health & Safety Trainer
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety trainer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will identify specific training needs and develop tailored programs to drive a knowledge-sharing culture across Ireland and Europe.
In this role, you will design and deliver effective training courses that uphold the highest Health and Safety standards, supporting our business in achieving its zero injuries and incidents' goal.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain training materials and programs to meet specific business objectives, educating employees on business standards and expectations.
* Manage administrative tasks, including writing reports and issuing certificates, while collaborating with L&D and Health & Safety professionals.
* Collaborate with Learning and Development to develop training programs based on evolving business demands and individual project needs.
* Assist with enrollment for training, scheduling, and coordination of necessary resources to deliver training programs efficiently across multiple locations.
* Deliver high-quality training courses to ensure participants gain exceptional learning experiences, enhancing health and safety performance and understanding Sisk's approach to managing Health and Safety.
* Coach employees at all levels through targeted training courses to ensure they understand Health and Safety expectations for their roles and responsibilities.
Experience:
* Effective and confident training provider, applying a range of training styles to deliver messages and assess learning.
* 5 years' experience of training within the construction industry.
* Experience delivering CITB Site Safety Plus courses.
* Experience delivering UKATA Asbestos Awareness.
* Experience working with a Central Learning and Development function.
* NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety/Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) – or equivalent.
* Train the Trainer (QQI Level 6) or equivalent.
* Tech / Grad IOSH, preferred.
+Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
