Job Summary
At Lidl, our primary goal is to deliver a fantastic customer journey across all touchpoints. We are seeking a Customer Assistant who is customer-obsessed, high-energy, and passionate about learning every day.
This role offers the opportunity to earn €440+ per week on a standard 30 hour contract with various shift times and tasks.
We require our Customer Assistants to be 18 or over to sell alcohol in our store.
Shift Patterns:
1. Morning Shift: Starting at 5am or 6am, you will assist your team in getting our award-winning products stocked on the shop floor and bakery products ready for opening time.
2. Middle Shift: Working mid-morning or early afternoon, you will ensure our stores are spotlessly clean, well-presented, and fresh while helping customers and working on tills.
3. Late Shift: From your afternoon start time, you will provide top-class customer service by serving customers on tills, restocking items, and preparing the store for the next day.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Interacting with customers in a pleasant, friendly, and helpful manner.
2. Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store.
3. Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
4. Following freshness and rotation principles.
5. Managing waste correctly.
6. Assisting in the stock count process.
Requirements:
1. A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills.

4. Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced, varied environment.
5. Good teamwork skills.
6. Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential.

Yearly Pay Breakdown:
1. Year 1: Basic Rate €14.80, €18.50 (Unsocial Hours), €22.20 (Overtime/Sundays), €29.60 (Bank Holiday).
2. Year 2: Basic Rate €15.35, €19.19 (Unsocial Hours), €23.03 (Overtime/Sundays), €30.70 (Bank Holiday).
3. Year 3: Basic Rate €15.90, €19.88 (Unsocial Hours), €23.85 (Overtime/Sundays), €31.80 (Bank Holiday).
4. Year 4: Basic Rate €16.90, €21.13 (Unsocial Hours), €25.35 (Overtime/Sundays), €33.80 (Bank Holiday).
