We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Utilities Engineer on a contract basis for a Sligo based client. Joining a team of 4, the Electrical Engineer will support the sites service and will be supporting projects and day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities:
Support Site Services Team in the Turnover/Commissioning of Project.
Conduct Walk downs with Project Team on behalf of Site & Generate Punch-list as required.
Manage Punch-list and Oversee Close out of raised Punches.
Review Documentation of various systems prior to turnover.
Liaise with Project System Owners as required.
Assist with the Commissioning & Supporting of System Integration.
Ensure Safety & Quality standards are met, and safe working practices adhered to
Developing a project plan and qualification strategy in line with sites requirements.Project activities may include but not are not limited to the following:
Monitor and report on project plan progress, communicate any shortfalls in specific areas of the plan and where needed identify solutions to address the shortfalls.
Organise and or attend any necessary meetings that are required for progress gathering or plan alignment
To communicate with project stakeholders required support.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering Degree or Electrical Trade qualified (QQI Level 6) – Advanced Craft Electrical Cert or Electrical & Instrumentation Cert
5 years’ experience in Engineering or related discipline is a necessary requirement for this position with project management experience.
Knowledge/Understanding of Site Electrical Infrastructure, Substations, Electrical Distribution, PLC’s, Electrical Drawings, P&ID’s, IS.(phone number removed), etc.
