About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Developer to join our Data Governance Team in Co. Kerry. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering complex data quality solutions across financial and regulatory projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop Data Quality rules in IBM Infosphere using your expertise in technical data-related development.
* Provide daily support for operational in-production Data Quality rules ensuring seamless system performance.
* Contribute to the Enterprise Data Quality Program, driving improvements in data quality and governance.
* Design and develop the data quality resolution and escalation process, including publication of data quality dashboards and metrics.
* Identify areas for system enhancements and implement necessary changes.
* Pursue complex ad-hoc research, DQ analysis, and reporting, serving as a subject-matter expert on data quality.
* Monitor and maintain all Data Quality incidents logged by the Data Quality Incident Management (DQIM) system, managing incidents to resolution with business/IT partners.
* Raise data quality and performance levels across all company data platforms through data analysis, profiling, and development.
Requirements
* Proven experience in Data Analysis/Data Profiling/Data Quality Development, particularly with IBM InfoSphere suite (Quality Stage, Information Analyzer, Data Stage).
* 2-5 years of experience in the financial services industry with a data quality focus.
* Experience in data quality related to regulatory or financial reporting.
* Broad understanding of Enhanced Prudential Standards (EPS), Dodd Frank Section 165, Bank Holding Company (strong plus).
* Data Quality certifications.
* Awareness of new data management technologies and willingness to adapt.
* In-depth understanding of relational and dimensional database concepts and ability to query databases using SQL.
* Ability to identify and map source and target data fields.
