comprehensive range of Specialist Palliative Care Services and Services for Older People across Counties Clare,
Limerick, and North Tipperary.

Clinical Nurse Manager 3, Specialist Palliative Care Community Services
12 Month Fixed Term Contract - 0.6WTE / 22.5hrs per week
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, forward thinking CNM3 to join the specialist palliative care
community service (SPCCS) at Milford Care Centre. We wish to appoint a dynamic nurse with outstanding
communication and interpersonal skills who will lead in the development of the specialist palliative nursing team in
Milford Care Centre. The successful applicant will have a passion for delivering the highest quality care to our
patients by planning, developing and managing activities and resources within the service.
Milford Care Centre is a leading provider of hospice care within Ireland, the centre's commitment to palliative care
and research is known throughout the world. The hospice team in Milford were the first centre outside of Australia
to bring in the Palliative Care Outcome Collaboration (PCOC) suite of assessment tools. This enables specialist
palliative care services to measure and better understand quality, safety and outcomes of care. Milford Care Centre
is committed to the education and development of its nurses to ensure that patients and their families receive
outstanding, evidence-based palliative care.
