Title: Senior HR Generalist
Reporting to: HR Manager
Contract Length: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Tullamore, Co. Offaly
Work Environment: Fully Onsite
The successful candidate will be a proactive member of the HR team with responsibility for implementing and delivering HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, talent development, diversity and inclusion, benefits, and general HR activities.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) in EHS, Quality, Service, Cost, People Development, and Continuous Improvement.
* Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures, seeking continuous improvements to internal HR processes that align with legislation. Act as a proactive member of the diversity, equity, and inclusion committee.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date training records and matrices meet audit standards, adhering to FDA, ISO, TUV IMB, ENHESA, NSAI, IDA, and other relevant regulations.
* Develop best practices to minimize absenteeism levels by documenting and managing control procedures and improving leadership capability.
* Enhance existing performance management practices, focusing on high-quality appraisals, recognition of top performers, and effective management of under-performing employees.
* Conduct disciplinary and grievance procedures fairly and consistently.
* Support supervisors and managers efficiently with employee relations.
* Identify and report health and safety issues, promoting a safe company culture and suggesting areas for improvement.
* Ensure timely completion of payroll and management information reporting.
* Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on open roles and lead the recruitment process from start to finish.
* Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in training and HR roles within a manufacturing unionized environment, possessing excellent knowledge of training, HR plant processes, systems, and personnel.
* HR qualification or CIPD certification.
* Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Suite, Workday, and Core.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership teams, with the ability to influence change.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven experience leading HR initiatives and reviewing processes.
* Commitment to working within the Medical Devices and Supplies Guide to Compliance and Quality Manufacturing and company business conduct guidelines.
