The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As Controls Engineering Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
* Responsible for the development and commissioning of automation and control systems.
* Manage the specification, development, installation, and validation of automation projects with direct responsibility for control systems.
* Lead discussion with project teams, provide technical support and make informed decisions on hardware and architecture selection.
* Develop and test different aspect of automation systems including robotics, vision, PLC, HMI/SCADA, Motion Control etc.
* Assess existing technologies and processes. Research and implementation of new control technologies.
Requirements:
Education:
* Must have highly relevant academic qualifications to Bachelors or Masters level with a qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering or Computer Sciences or another relevant area of study.
Experience:
* You should have over 5 years' experience as a minimum in a Senior Systems Engineering role with significant experience in the Life Sciences, Pharma or Medical Device manufacturing sectors.
Skills Brief:
* Expertise in Process Automation and Systems Integration.
* Strong knowledge of control system engineering in the automation and overall operation of complex electro-mechanical systems
* Familiarity with Siemens PLC platforms (e.g., TIA Portal, WinCC) is highly desirable.
