Job Summary
The successful candidate will work with a portfolio of clients, requesting records, discussing deadlines and client queries to include scheduling and management of workflows. They will be responsible for preparing and submitting VAT returns and supporting colleagues with VAT-specific queries.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Management: Manage client relationships, request records, discuss deadlines, and schedule workflows.
* VAT Returns: Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns on time.
* Colleague Support: Assist colleagues with VAT-related queries and provide technical expertise.
Requirements
* Accounting Qualification: Accounting technician/IPASS VAT Qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Practice Experience: Proven experience working in a practice environment with strong technical knowledge of VAT.
* Time Management: Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Software Skills: Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Xero, is an advantage.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills and a strong team player mentality.
