Quantity Surveying Apprenticeship Programme
BAM's Quantity Surveying Apprenticeship Programme is an exciting opportunity for young people to kickstart their careers in the construction industry. As a quantity surveyor, you will play a vital role in estimating and controlling the costs of large construction projects.
Your Mission:
Upon completion of this two-year apprenticeship, you will become a fully qualified quantity surveyor with an NFQ Level 9 Masters degree in Advanced Quantity Surveying. Your responsibilities will include:
* Estimating and controlling the costs of large construction projects
* Managing contractual relationships between involved parties
* Solving problems and finding practical solutions to improve project performance
* Selecting appropriate value management and cost control techniques
Who We're Looking For:
We're seeking a college leaver with a passion for the construction industry. You'll need excellent communication skills, be an excellent team worker, and be able to use your initiative.
Requirements:
To undertake this Apprenticeship, you must have either:
* A primary honours degree (Level 8) in a built environment programme with a minimum award of 2.2
* Have successfully completed a Post Graduate Diploma in a built environment programme
* An appropriate professional built environment qualification and at least 2 years relevant professional experience/responsibility
* A primary honours degree (Level 8) with a minimum award of 2.2 and at least 5 years relevant professional responsibility and experience within the built environment
