Our client is a subsidiary of a large business providing Financial Services in a niche area, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager to work in the Irish business. This is a newly created stand-alone position to migrate the work in-house working alongside their external accountants and overseas finance teams.
The Position
This is a broad role which will manage a lot of the day-to-day accounting and support the CEO across all areas of finance. Duties will involve:
1. Accounts receivable including credit control and issuing of invoices
2. Accounts Payable, processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, dealing with queries, and processing payments
3. Bank reconciliations
4. Monthly cash management
5. Monthly preparation of financial reports
6. Submission of group reports back to HQ
7. Assist with day-to-day administration tasks and any other ad-hoc accounts duties as required
The role will suit an experienced candidate with a number of years' general accounts experience, strong organisational skills, and very good attention to detail.
The ideal candidate:
1. At least 2 years' general accounts experience
2. Ideally qualified Accounting Technician
3. Ability to multi-task and to work to deadlines
4. Excellent communication skills with fully fluent written and spoken English essential
5. Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and to manage workload
6. Proactive problem-solving ability
7. Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy
