Ensure that process validations and work methods are adequate to maintain the highest quality standards.Identify, evaluate and validate alternative electronic components in support of product obsolescence activitiesSupport other departments as required, e.g. assist in analysis of customer returns, debug, root cause analysis on circuits, technical support for customers, conduct tests in the Test Laboratory, prototype circuits, etc.Develop manufacturing technical capabilities and skills to ensure on-going process requirements can be effectively achieved.Implementation of engineering change control requests to help enhance production and product capabilities.KEY PERFOMANCE INDICATORS Delivery to project timelines and budgets.QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREDCurrently studying a degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.Familiar with electronic and electro-mechanical systems design and debug.Capabilities in both analog and digital electronics.A general knowledge of PCs (DOS, Windows, hardware installation).Basic mechanical aptitude for working with test fixtures and small assemblies.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIESFamiliarity with software interfacing with hardware and measuring instruments is desirable.Technical competency in reading schematicsComputer literacy, electronic design applications (Cadence) and MS Office.5.PERSONAL COMPETENCIESAbility to work as part of a team.Good planning and organization skills.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Good documentation skills, able to generate clear and comprehensive documents.Strong attention to detail.Fluent written and spoken English with excellent record keeping and report writing skills are required.
