Job Title - Sourcing Analyst
Location - With a Medical Device manufacturer in Galway, hybrid working of 3 days on site and 2 days working from home
Contract type: This is a 12 month contract role with the strong likelihood of becoming permanent.
Sourcing Specialist job responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain supplier performance review metrics.
2. Provide management with periodic and ad hoc spend analysis reports.
3. Execute sourcing events from end to end, including the following:
1. Price negotiations
2. Vendor quote tracking
3. Supplier selection
4. Contract review and approval
4. Support stakeholder identification.
5. Support Sourcing Managers in the strategic planning and project sourcing execution process.
6. Coordinate the analytics of internal and external data and e-sourcing support.
7. Support development of negotiation strategies.
8. Provide support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process.
9. Perform supplier analysis, including supplier financials and capabilities.
10. Perform Sourcing and Category Management activities for projects.
11. Partner with suppliers and stakeholders to purchase goods and services at an optimal price.
Experience and skills required for this role:
1. A level 8 degree within a related discipline.
2. Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
3. Experience within a global organisation.
4. Strong systems experience including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
