Head of Sales - Dublin - DHL Global ForwardingDHL Global Forwarding Dublin1 day agoDescriptionHead of Sales & MarketingWe are seeking an experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to lead our business development strategy in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for building on our success, engaging with our CEO and Product Heads to develop and deliver a clear Business Development Strategy.Key Accountabilities:Network and build relationships at a strategic level both internally and externally, with the ability to penetrate large multinational organizations at board level.Promote DGF IE capabilities and develop meaningful relationships across the DGF global network, identifying opportunities for DGF IE growth.Identify customers within our existing Tech & Pharma Verticals, developing Strategic Account Plans, along with reviewing other Vertical Sectors which to date, we have not penetrated i.e. Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer & Retail.Review and target specific trade lanes.Making Customers More Successful: Maintains effective relationships with customers, develops commercialized services and solutions, inspires customers, and gains organizational alignment and support.Shaping Direction: Ensures strategies/ plans are aligned, develops strategies/plans aligned to broader organizational strategy, and communicates strategy.Driving High Performance: Establishes clear objectives, aligns resources and organization to achieve objectives, regularly reviews progress, and adjusts as needed.Developing Others: Provides employees with feedback, development opportunities, career opportunities, and inspires others to develop themselves.Developing Self: Conveys personal goals and values, actively seeks feedback, develops new skills, and takes personal responsibility for career and development.Requirements:Proven track record in similar role at senior level.Extensive knowledge and understanding of Freight Forwarding industry.Experience of operating in a fast-paced dynamic organization.IT - generalist knowledge - MS Word, Excel, Power Point, CRM.Requirement to travel internationally when justified by business development.Job Type:Full-timeDescriptionHead of Sales & MarketingWe are seeking an experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to lead our business development strategy in Ireland.
