Position
Overview of role: Assisting in various aspects of financial and management accounting functions.
Main Responsibilities are not limited to but will include:
* Assistance in preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
* Balance Sheet Analysis
* Daily & Monthly Gross Margin Analysis
* Cash Management
* Creditor Ledger Management
* Preparation of claims to Manufacturers
* Revenue Submissions, PAYE/PRSI, VAT
* Supporting other departments across the company
* Bank Reconciliations
* Item Costing/Pricing
* Assist in audit preparation
* Ad-hoc tasks
Key Accountabilities:
* Reporting to management on daily/monthly requirements within deadline
* Responding to queries in a timely manner
* Taking responsibility and ownership of tasks
Requirements
Essential Requirements: You will have a high level of initiative and flexibility along with the ability to prioritise workload and ideally you possess the following:
* Relevant 3rd level qualification in business/accountancy
* Currently studying for a Professional accountancy qualification: ACCA, CIMA, IATI
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word & Windows
* Excellent verbal & written communication capabilities
* Numeric skills – a strong aptitude for reviewing, assessing and coherently presenting financial information
* An aptitude for hard work
* Ability to work under pressure within a team environment
* Ability to meet deadlines and targets
* Self-motivated individual with drive, enthusiasm and commitment
* Excellent organisational, analytical and time management skills
* ‘Can-do, will do’ attitude
