About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our engineering team at our new manufacturing facility in Kilkenny, opening in 2024. This role is focused on supporting the production equipment and ensuring reliable functioning.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Maximo system administrator to develop and manage KPIs and metrics related to engineering services and production.
* Collaborate with production personnel to complete root cause analysis (RCA) on arising issues using appropriate tools.
* Perform criticality analysis and either Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) or Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) on new equipment arriving at the site.
* Conduct predictive analysis on data from Maximo and other systems to predict failure and optimize preventive maintenance (PMs).
* Develop proactive maintenance procedures and practices.
* Create and monitor life cycle asset management plans.
* Engage with technicians, engineers, and the training department to assist in developing training plans on new equipment.
* Provide technical support to engineers and technicians on production equipment.
* Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and develop plans to improve as necessary.
Requirements
* Efficiently use Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Hold a Level 8 (honours degree) in engineering or a related field.
* Experience with Maximo is highly advantageous.
* Knowledge of tools like RCM, RCA, and FMECA is also highly advantageous.
* Maintenance/reliability experience is essential, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
