Forklift Service Engineer/Mechanic
Team Horizon is seeking a Workshop Service Engineer/Mechanic for a leading Forklift/Warehouse equipment company based in West Dublin.

Key responsibilities:
- Find, diagnose and rectify faults on FLT's as deemed necessary, with all that this entails, and order the necessary spare parts as efficiently as possible.
- Adhere to all company H&S and Environmental policies and procedures and site policies and to ensure familiarity with the requirements of the current safety standards.
- Ensure time sheet data is accurate and up to date to allow smooth processing of all jobs.
- Maintain and update the ERP system daily, and close out jobs once completed.
- Liaise with the first line of management for authorisation of parts and process order numbers accordingly.
- Work under own initiative without constant supervision.
- Ensure all allocated work is adhered to and notify Team Leader / Controller if in arrears.
- Follow specified Engineering Standards and Safe Working Practices and all Company Policies and Procedures at all times.
- Verify stock levels/movement records are accurate and correct.
- Maintain all company issued equipment in a satisfactory condition.
- Take on any additional duties as required by the Team Leader / Controller to ensure smooth running of the departmental function.
Requirements:
- Qualified maintenance engineer (National Craft Certificate) in relevant discipline or industry experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High level of communication with ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email.
- Impeccable attention to detail IT Skills (Microsoft Office suite).
Able to maintain and achieve monthly targets and goals. Energetic, motivated and pro-active team player.
