This is a multidisciplinary consultancy in Galway City with a vacancy for an Associate Engineer to join their rapidly growing team.
The company has worked on various projects across the region, including residential developments, healthcare, education and civil projects.
This role offers individuals the opportunity to get involved in all stages of a project.
Your New Role:
As an Associate Engineer, your responsibilities will include planning, design, and management of construction projects.
* Conducting feasibility studies and technical investigations of sites to determine the viability of projects.
* Risk and Environmental Impact Assessment.
* Ensuring that sites meet all legal, health, and safety recommendations.
* Managing, directing, and monitoring the progress of projects as they happen.
* Discussing project requirements with other professionals such as architects and clients.
You will lead a team of engineers and designers.
Requirements:
* A Degree or Masters in Civil / Structural Engineering.
* 10 years' experience in a design office, working on medium to large scale projects, including residential and commercial projects.
* Proficiency in REVIT/BIM.
* A successful track record of working closely in partnership with clients and contractors.
* A full licence and transport required for occasional site visits.
* Previous Irish experience essential for this role.
* Civil engineering proficiency preferable, with experience in managing drainage, traffic engineering and siteworks.
