Hotel Talent are delighted to announce the role of a Restaurant Manager in a beautiful 4* property. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service quality and enhancing customer satisfaction. This leadership role requires strong managerial expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence. The restaurant has a breakfast, lunch and dinner service and as part of your role, you will oversee the three services with a particular focus on lunch and dinner.
Responsibilities:
* Provide strong leadership and motivation to the front-of-house team, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
* Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.
* Maintain the highest standards of food quality, service excellence, and cleanliness.
* Cultivate a positive work environment by offering continuous training and professional development opportunities for staff.
* Address guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
* Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between front and back-of-house operations.
* Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a secure and compliant workplace for both staff and guests.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a managerial role within the Irish hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume hotel restaurant environment, with a strong understanding of operational demands.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and motivate a diverse team to achieve excellence.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with staff, guests, and stakeholders while fostering a positive work culture.
* Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory control, budgeting, and financial reporting.
* Track record of delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience through attention to detail and service excellence.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business needs.
