About the Role
- Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management and Resource Optimization:
1. Responsible for full management of the pre-sales team
2. Supervise and provide guidance to technical team members in various career paths, including project management, hybrid, presales, and solutions engineering.
3. Collaborate closely with global Laserfiche team leads such as Presales, PMO, and Direct Engineering Services, reporting directly to the EMEA Regional Director. Your focus will be on optimizing resource allocation within EMEA, ensuring appropriate staffing for projects, and maximizing team engagement in high-priority tasks.
Project Oversight and Escalation Handling:
4. Ensure timely and budget-compliant execution of Laserfiche Direct implementation projects while maintaining the highest quality standards.
5. Lead and manage direct projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
6. Review and/or create Statements of Work (SOW) deliverables and assess technical deliverables from project teams.
7. Cultivate strong working relationships with customers, especially at the Project Manager and senior management levels.
8. Devise strategies to effectively address challenging customer-facing situations.
EMEA Pre-Sales Engineering Team Management:
9. Lead requirements gathering engagements and provide technical review of solution designs and effort estimates.
10. Design, implement, and deploy solutions for medium to large-sized projects, potentially incorporating custom-developed functionality.
11. Coach and mentor team members ranging from 1st to 3rd level to foster their professional growth.
12. Conduct annual performance reviews for team members, participate in candidate interviews, and make hiring recommendations.
13. Assist with technical escalations for both channel and direct customers.
Sales and Pre-Sales Support:
14. Gather requirements from prospective and existing customers to build sales demonstrations and complex Proof of Concepts (POCs).
15. Develop functional sales demos and complex POCs to showcase the capabilities of the Laserfiche product.
16. Write and cost Statements of Work (SOW) for potential projects.
17. Address technical pre-sales inquiries, informally or through formal Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
18. Facilitate knowledge transfer of sales opportunities to the project team.
19. Conduct research on emerging technology areas relevant to Laserfiche's implementation in customer environments.
About You - Essential Qualifications
20. Minimum 5-years of work experience in a software or professional services company
21. Minimum 5-years' experience & proven success in directly managing high performing teams
22. Minimum 3-years of work experience in a project management capacity
23. Minimum 2-years of work experience in a supervisory capacity
24. Bachelor's Degree
25. Languages: C2 (Proficiency) English and German
