Mental Health Services in HSE Mid-West serve a total population of 384,995 (Census 2016) covering Counties Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary.
The services provided span community, outpatient, inpatient and residential care with a focus on the delivery of recovery orientated supports.
A number of specialised Mental Health Teams are in place in HSE Mid-West.
The current vacancy available is in the Mid-West (Clare / North Tipperary) Adult Mental Health service.
The person appointed to this post will be required to participate as a member of multi-disciplinary management teams across defined geographical areas, covering parts of Clare and parts of north Tipperary.
Services are primarily community based and delivered through Community Mental Health Teams.
In-patient, residential and specialist services are also provided in the areas.
The post holder will be required to supervise and manage a group of senior social workers and professionally qualified social workers working in Clare and North Tipperary Adult Mental Health Service.
