Are you a people focused People Advisor?
Looking for a role where you can use your understanding of legislation, HR knowledge and personal initiative to provide a high-quality customer service and support to all levels of the business?
If so, we have an opportunity for a People Advisor to join our People team in the Dublin area.
This role will be based from home a couple of days a week but will require travel to stores 2-3 days a week, which may involve overnight stays.
The Impact you will have in this role is:
* Delivering supportive advice to colleagues across the business throughout the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
* Completing case documentation and administration promptly and accurately.
* Identifying potential employee relation cases and minimizing risk through proactive updates with managers.
* Providing effective support in meetings with relevant and commercial guidance on employment law and company policies.
* Keeping the legal team, senior management, and People Partner updated to mitigate risks.
* Ensuring managers are competent in managing absenteeism and promoting wellbeing and mental health support.
* Providing quality and efficient administrative customer service through the People Support team.
* Participating in learning courses and seminars to provide updates on legislation.
* Supporting division/department projects and initiatives.
* Building trusting working relationships with management.
* Implementing people initiatives with operational needs in mind.
* Facilitating smooth business changes, such as restructures and redundancies.
* Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
As our future People Advisor you will have:
In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law, contractual rights, records management, data protection, and the Company’s policies and procedures. Experience in a confidential HR environment, preferably in retail or logistics.
Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders and excellent verbal and written communication standards.
General awareness of financial constraints and the impact of business performance on budgets and P&L.
Ideally Level 5 CIPD qualified, with a score of 400 in the leavers cert, or equivalent.
