Manufacturing EngineerAn innovative and fast-growing medical device company is developing a novel technology to treat a highly prevalent urological condition. Current treatment options are often invasive, uncomfortable, or ineffective, leaving many patients without satisfactory solutions.As this company moves closer to full-scale commercialization, they are expanding their team and now seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations and driving improvements across production lines, processes, and equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide daily support to manufacturing to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Troubleshoot product, process, or equipment issues in collaboration with the operations team.Work closely with R&D and Quality to design and enhance manufacturing procedures and workflows.Assist with equipment selection, installation, and ongoing performance monitoring.Lead or support process validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) in line with internal quality standards.Apply Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and KPI methodologies to drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.Support efforts to scale up manufacturing while improving cost efficiency (COGs).Qualifications & ExperienceA Level 8 degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification).Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the medical device industry.Strong understanding of quality systems and process control principles.Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.A proactive, self-starting approach and strong technical acumen.A collaborative team player who enjoys problem-solving and improving processes in a fast-paced environment.
