The Compliance Monitoring and Testing (“CMT”) Team is responsible for the planning and execution of testing and monitoring activities to assess the effectiveness of compliance processes and controls. The CMT Manager will support the CMT Senior Manager in developing, managing, executing, and improving the CMT Program.
What you’ll be doing (job duties):
* Assist in designing and enhancing enterprise-wide CMT Program methodologies.
* Develop a risk-based annual CMT plan in collaboration with Compliance staff.
* Create periodic reports on CMT plan progress and status of remediation plans.
* Manage assigned CMT activities through planning, execution, and reporting.
* Prepare reports on CMT activities and collaborate on root cause analysis.
* Maintain documentation in a central repository.
* Track and validate remediation plans submitted by issue owners.
* Participate in training regarding the CMT Program.
* Stay current on regulatory developments impacting the CMT Program.
* Conduct other duties as assigned.
* Manage a team.

* Knowledge of laws and regulations for financial services.
* Track record of delivering work outcomes to budget and quality standards.
* Experience in developing metrics and reporting.
* Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Highly motivated, organized, and adaptive.
* Good presentation skills and a self-starter.
* Ability to collaborate with global partners.
* Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
* Experience with data extraction and analysis tools (SQL, Tableau, SAS, Snowflake).
* Proficient in PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets.
* A BA/BS degree in business, finance, or related fields.
Nice to haves:
* Experience in monitoring third-party vendors.
* Interest in cryptocurrency.
* Experience with multiple AML systems and programs.
* Exposure to financial services regulators.
* Professional certifications (CRCM, CAMS, CIA, CISA, CICA).
* Experience managing large teams.
