Head Chef - Munster 5* Hotel
We are seeking a highly experienced Head Chef/Chef de Cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team in a luxurious 5* Hotel in Ireland. As the right-hand person to the Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day culinary operations, including staff training, supervision, and quality control. You will lead and motivate a talented team of Chefs across multiple outlets.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A seasoned Senior Chef with at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced 5* Hotel or Fine Dining Restaurant environment.
* A Team Player with excellent leadership skills, able to develop and motivate staff to deliver exceptional results.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with expertise in compiling wage forecasts, rosters, stock control, budgeting, HACCP, and cost management.
* A creative and ambitious individual who can maintain consistency in food delivery while driving innovation and excellence.
* A natural leader who fosters a positive work environment, promotes employee morale, and encourages pride and commitment among team members.
* Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on presentation.
* Staying up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
* Effective cost control and budget management, ensuring operational budgets are aligned and costs are strictly controlled.
Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
