Job Title: Maintenance Fitter
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.
The successful candidate will work within a well-established Maintenance Team across a rolling shift pattern to carry out reactive maintenance efficiently, effectively, and safely.
Job Responsibilities:
* Complete planned and reactive maintenance work in an effective and safe manner
* Carry out hands-on maintenance work on mechanical and electrical plant, machinery, and equipment
* Carry out fabrication work
* Operate plant and machinery as required
* Demonstrate commitment to delivering a safe personal working culture
* Attend to unplanned failures in a timely manner to meet reliability targets
* Complete work orders via SAP tablet-based Safety Culture system to complete work activity and relevant documentation
* Report parts and materials deficits via SAP without delay
* Suggest tactical decisions to the Maintenance Manager to stay on schedule
* Demonstrate commitment to multi-skilled activity where appropriate
* Notify Engineer Manager/Team Leader of all operational issues affecting delivery to plan without delay
* Plan own work to minimise time lost
* Communicate accurate information to the Maintenance Manager
Job Requirements:
* Time-served maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment
* National Trade Craft Certificate is essential
* An assertive individual who demonstrates a willingness to progress within the company
* Demonstrated commitment to maintaining Health and Safety standards
* Ability to work at heights
* A strong understanding of motors and hydraulics
* Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to use fault-finding diagnostic equipment
