We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our talented and growing team. Our company aims to triple its numbers in the near future, and we are looking for three new team members with this role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying key decision makers and requirements, generating viable sales opportunities, and appointments for our Business Development Managers and National Account Managers.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively prospecting and identifying key decision makers through cold calling and networking.
* Generating new business opportunities relevant to our Telematics, Telecoms, Telephony, Connectivity, and Fuel solutions.
* Following up on customer call backs.
* Managing qualified customer appointments and visits for Account Managers.
* Responding to and following up on inbound sales enquiries and maintaining pipeline.
* Ensuring pipeline entries are updated on a weekly basis.
* Composing relevant proposals for potential SME customers.
* Staying commercially aware of competitors and aiming to stay ahead.
* Maximising sales revenues, margins, and performance by driving business growth and achieving positive results.
About You
* You have telesales, outbound, or business development experience.
* You have previous experience in a KPI-focused sales role.
* You have a thorough understanding of planning and delivering new business strategies.
* You have demonstrable experience of closing new business opportunities on the phone.
* You have the resilience and drive to make a high volume of outbound calls daily.
* You are willing to learn about call techniques, our products, and services.
* You are proficient in using CRM software.
* You are highly motivated and goal-driven.
* You have exceptional communication skills.
* You have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

* A salary of £26,500 basic plus commission (£40,000 OTE).
