Reporting to either the Project Manager or Contracts Manager, the Site Manager will be a key member of Precision Construction's site management team and representative based on site during the construction stage of our projects. They will be responsible for the daily operations on site or section of a project including the planning, execution, and delivery of a project through to completion. The Site Manager will manage and lead the Site Construction team and the Sub-contractors during the construction stage of the project.
The Site Manager will be required to audit pre-contract documentation, manage day-to-day operations on site, plan and schedule labour, materials, and plant requirements, institute the most suitable site layout, and manage the decant process at project completion. They will liaise with head office staff and the design team and manage site supervisors to ensure implementation of control systems in terms of contract programme, specification, quality standards, costs, and health and safety.
Responsibilities include:
* Arranging site meetings and Sub-Contractors Coordination Meetings.
* Maintaining project records including site diary, logbook recording hours, weather conditions, data relating to variations, general observations, and unusual occurrences.
* Managing visitors attendance book, operatives sign in and out book, daily records of works, drawing register, and contact information for all contractors, sub-contractors, and major suppliers of equipment and materials.
