Cyber and Information security underpins our day-to-day operations and enables these growth ambitions. Accordingly, we have an exciting opportunity for a Security Architect to join the Chief Information Security Officer’s Team. The successful candidate will be operating in a fast-moving environment which requires strong, dynamic, and visible leadership whilst also using their domain industry experience, knowledge, and skills to be successful in driving security-by-design across the Enterprise.
Responsibilities:
Functional Strategy & Delivery
1. Conducting information security architecture reviews and threat assessments against new and existing applications and services, for both on-premise and cloud applications, addressing current and emerging information security and compliance requirements of the organisation.
2. Developing and coordinating the implementation of information security architecture and security controls to address the current and emerging information security and compliance requirements of the organisation.
Risk Management & Control
1. Responsible for end-to-end management of relevant security architecture risks ensuring they are well understood, documented, governed, and communicated appropriately. Maintain appropriate evidence of risk management activities in support of the risk register.
Lead an Inspiring Culture
1. Embody and role model the Group’s values and standards.
2. Assist with the implementation of key programmes.
Stakeholder Engagement
1. Lead engagement with relevant internal and external stakeholders to identify cyber and information security requirements. This will include PTSB policy requirements as well as relevant regulatory considerations.
Requirements:
1. 5-7+ years working within Information Security in a regulated industry.
2. Excellent knowledge of relevant Irish and European regulatory landscape for financial services.
3. Highly effective at verbal and written communications, influencing at all levels, and reporting technical concepts to non-technology colleagues.
4. Fundamental understanding and practical experience across broad security domains.
5. Strong influencing capabilities.
This is a 24-month Fixed Term Contract based in PTSB's St Stephens Green, Dublin/ Airport Business Park, Cork.
