Barna Recycling has a Payroll Specialist position. The role will involve running the complete payroll for approx. 300-350 employees. Experience in a similarly sized payroll and knowledge of Tax, PRSI, USC, compensation and benefits, protective leave, bonus, pensions, etc. is a distinct advantage. This role requires strong Excel skills, so experience in Excel in respect of VLOOKUP, macros, pivot tables, etc. is desired.
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:
1. Administration of Advance Systems Time & Attendance
2. Processing of hourly and salary (weekly) payroll using Sage Micropay
3. Dealing with compensation and benefits
4. Processing all protective leave in keeping with the current legislation
5. Dealing with payroll related queries
6. Complete all month-end payroll reports
7. Completion of (CSO) reports
8. Updating HRM system with employee information such as change of address, absence, and holiday entries
9. General payroll administration
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Experience processing payroll, preferably 2 to 3 years’ experience of full payroll runs
2. IPASS Qualification preferable
3. Knowledge of Sage Micropay a distinct advantage
4. Excellent IT skills, in particular Excel
5. Knowledge and experience of Revenue-online-Services (R.O.S.)
6. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
7. Knowledge of T&A Systems and payroll systems
Terms:
Hours: 37 hours per week – 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mon-Thurs; 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fri
Reports to the Human Resource and Payroll Manager
Must have own transport
Salary competitive and commensurate with experience
