Financial advisory company processing mortgages, life and health cover, pensions, and investments based in South Dublin is looking to hire a full-time mortgage administrator with strong negotiating skills to assist them in finding mortgage funding. The mortgage administrator's responsibilities include organising the mortgage file, liaising with both the client and lender, plus continually reviewing the clients' file until completion of the mortgage drawdown. This includes processing life cover and building and contents cover.
Position: Permanent Full Time; Monday - Friday
Mortgage Administrator Responsibilities:
* Negotiating with banks and credit lenders.
* Processing applications and liaising with both parties.
* Helping with the general administration duties of this small office or projects that the managing director may pass on.
* Assisting clients with pre-approval on loans.
* Analysing and comparing different loan options available to the client plus options for life cover and buildings and content cover (the company has ALL the insurance company agencies).
* Ensuring compliance with banking and financial legislation.
* Educating clients on their legal and financial options and ensuring that they understand them.
* Helping clients complete and understand all the necessary paperwork.
Mortgage Administrator Requirements:
* QFA or higher.
* Brokerage experience (2 years +).
* Expertise in personal finance and risk assessment.
* Familiarity with banking and financial legislation and regulations.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
* Keen understanding of mortgage underwriting procedures.
* Up to date on economic, product, and market trends.
* Outstanding IT, social, and communication skills.
* Ability to build trust with clients.
