Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our clients finance team.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
* Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements
* Generate financial reports using Sage and Excel
* Handle general finance administration tasks as needed
Requirements
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a similar role
* Software Skills: Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software is essential
* Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
* Education: Accounting, Finance, or Business-related qualification preferred but not essential
* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
* Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively
